kids & youth
We believe every young person is as important to God as any adult man or woman, and we take seriously our responsibility to introduce young people to the gospel and encourage them to become disciples of Jesus. The activities we offer are also planned to be both age-appropriate and fun. Who said following Jesus was meant to be dry and boring!
Sundays
Our objective every Sunday morning is that each child and young person can have an encounter with Jesus. After a time of whole church worship, lasting between 30 and 45 minutes, the children meet in age-based groups in rooms at the back of the church building. Our children and young people’s leaders create a programme that is fun, stimulating and – above all – leads them into the presence of God. Our children's workers are all DBS checked. We have a large group of primary-age children who play, study the bible and engage in craft activities or cooking. Secondary-school age young people meet to explore and discuss the Christian faith together in a separate group. There is a parent-led creche for under-2s where the service is relayed by audio so that parents or carers supervising very young children can continue to listen to the service.

On the first Friday evening of each month, we host a supervised club for school years 7 and upwards to play games and chat in a safe environment. Whether your child is a budding pool superstar, air hockey novice, or is into arts and craft then they would be very welcome to join in the fun!
