Finding god
“If you believe in your heart God raised Jesus from the dead, and confess with your mouth, Jesus is Lord, you shall be saved” Romans 10:9-10
Becoming a Christian is about accepting a life changing relationship with the God who made us, loves us and knows everything about us. In fact, He loves us so much that He gave His Son Jesus to pay the price for everything we have done wrong by dying in our place on a cross.
But the good news doesn’t end there, because three days later, having totally satisfied God’s justice against our sins, God raised Jesus from the dead, and now He offers forgiveness and eternal life for everyone who believes in Him.
Every person who believes in Him becomes a “new creation”, a brand new person on the inside. The past is forgiven and gone and God, by the power of His Holy Spirit, comes to live inside of us and starts a process of transformation in our lives.
From that point on, we become His sons and daughters, heaven becomes our eternal home, and He promises to never leave us or give us up.
The Stable is an independent Christian church based in High Barnet, just north of London. We meet in Salisbury Road, off Barnet High Street near The Spires shopping centre. We are an informal, friendly church with a strong sense of family, where everyone is welcome — just as you are.

Pray this prayer with a sincere heart and invite Jesus into your life
Heavenly Father, I thank you that you love me and gave your Son, Jesus, to die in my place for my sins.

I am sorry for the things I have done wrong and I turn from them to follow you.
I believe you raised Jesus from the dead, and I boldly confess that Jesus is Lord. Please save me now, come into my heart, and change my life.
I will love you and serve you as long as I live.
